For more than 30 years, David R. & Mary F. Downs, P.C. has served as a trusted business partner to clients throughout the Portland metropolitan area. Established in 1986 by David & Mary Downs, we've been providing services to individuals and to businesses of all sizes.

Over the years, we've grown to a firm consisting of two partners and three accounting professionals and support staff, all ready to serve you and help you fulfill your plans, goals and dreams.

Our Team

David R. Downs

David R. Downs, CPA, has practiced accounting in both large and small CPA firms for over 30 years, with an emphasis in individual and small business tax compliance and planning. He has both a BS and an MS in accounting from the University of Illinois as well as a law degree from Lewis & Clark Law School. Dave is a member of the Oregon Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Mary F. Downs

Mary F. Downs, CPA, has practiced accounting for over 30 years in both large and small CPA firms and industry. Her emphasis is also individual and small business tax compliance and planning. Mary has a BBA with an emphasis in accounting from Gonzaga University and is a member of the Oregon Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Rod Lilly, EA/LTC

Rod Lilly, EA/LTC began working for us in early 2017. He has been preparing taxes for nine years. Rod has a BS in Accounting and Sociology from the University of Oregon. Prior work experience includes an extensive background in corporate managerial accounting. Rod is a member of the Oregon Association of Tax Consultants.
